Nestling at the edge of Lomagne, the charming circuluar medieval town of Sarrant features on the list of the most beautiful villages of France. Its 14th-century fortified door, the old door to the town crowned with a square tower, pretty houses with corbels and timber frames, and its Church of St. Vincent, crowned with an octagonal spire, are some of the attractions to be discovered on a leisurely stroll.
A medieval garden with old vegetable varieties and aromatic and medicinal plants rounds off the visit very nicely.
